Red Bull Racing’s Chief Technical Officer Adrian Newey, in a recent interview with The Wall Street Journal’s Dan Neil, revealed more information about the forthcoming Aston Martin AM-RB 001 hypercar – potentially the most extreme hypercar ever manufactured.
With the most notable highlight being the speed, the AM-RB 001 hypercar should hit 200mph in just 10 seconds, while a massive set of brakes will cut that speed to zero in 15 seconds.
First unveiled here some months back; Newey also clarified some of the broader questions about the vehicle’s availability. Aston Martin and Red Bull will build 175 examples of the potentially record-breaking hypercar, with 150 designated for road use and the remaining 25 limited to the track.
The cost of the car was also revealed, and it will set you back some swanky $3 million USD. There is no confirmed arrival date yet, but you’ll definitely be updated when more info drops.
