Directed by Alejandro Amenábar, the film’s plot centers around an investigation by detective Bruce Kenner (Ethan Hawke), involving a young girl named Angela (Emma Watson), who accused her father John Gray (David Dencik), of sexual abuse. When John unexpectedly and without recollection admits his guilt, renowned psychologist Dr. Raines (David Thewlis) is brought in to help him relive his memories and what they discover unmasks a horrifying nationwide mystery. Regression is scheduled to hit theaters August 28.
