In celebration of COPA América Centenario’s 100 year anniversary this year, and its first time in the U.S.A, made-in-America companies DreamWorks and BAIT are joining forces together with Italian footwear purveyor Diadora, for a special series of six sneakers that kick off today with a collaborative S8000 model.
The made-in-Italy sneaker features a bold black and white colorway, inspired by DreamWorks’ hit film Kung Fu Panda, in premium pony hair with supple leather details across its upper. Custom tri-branded insoles line the footbeds, while lace options include flat waxed black and white laces. Finally, the shoes are encased in a Kung Fu Panda-themed box.
Limited to 300 units, BAIT x DreamWorks x Diadora S8000 “Kung Fu Panda” sneakers are scheduled to release on May 28, at all BAIT chapter stores, for $300 USD. You can also enter BAIT’s raffle online for a chance to win the sneakers.
