Following its official teaser last week, Jaguar has officially unveiled its first ever 4×4 crossover vehicle – the F-Pace, ahead of its world premiere at the forthcoming Frankfurt Motor Show on September 14. With a light aluminium architectural frame featuring a double wishbone front suspension and Integral Link rear suspension, as well as F-Type derived technologies including Torque Vectoring, the Jaguar F-Pace is out to give nothing but an incredible driving experience. The British car manufacturer’s inspiration for these functionalities lies in the idea that the F-Pace “is a performance crossover, designed for people who love driving.” The Jaguar F-Pace will be fully revealed with specs at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show on September 14.

Jaguar Teases The F-Pace, Its First Ever Crossover Vehicle

Although it was first unveiled as the C-X17 concept car way back in 2013 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the production version of Jaguar’s first ever crossover vehicle will be making its full debut at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show on September 15, so it’s safe to say the British car manufacturer is the latest to enter the 4×4 market. Promised to be a sharp handler with a double wishbone layout for the front suspension and an integral link setup at the rear, the F-Pace will incorporate the chassis technology developed for the F-Type sports car. The new crossover utility vehicle is built in the brand’s Solihull, UK factory and is expected to hit the market in 2016. An official announcement of the new Jaguar F-Pace CUV will take place next month at the Frankfurt Motor Show, in which more information regarding the car will become available.
