Donatella Versace spent some quality time with Bruce Weber in Chicago, photographing her Fall 2016 Versace campaign and shooting an accompanying short film to go with it. Oddly enough, the experience of shooting the Fall campaign inspired Versace’s Spring menswear show — further validating how fashion can scramble perceptions and its seasons.
Versace’s spring 2017 collection sports a pool of athleticism with deluxe feel, with a wide array of activewear staples, like crewneck tops, cycle pants, windbreakers, sneakers and zipped hoodies. One of the main objectives of the collection was to keep everything as light as possible. The outcome of the aforesaid, is technical fibers teamed with silks, perforated leathers, messenger-slung bags and lightweight sneakers and sandals.
