FEIT Fall 2015 Hand Sewn Hiker

New York based luxury footwear and accessories label FEIT has rolled out the Hand Sewn Hiker for Fall 2015. Offered in both Cuoio and Black leather, the shoe is built by hand from start to finish by one master craftsman using an advanced Goodyear construction technique that produces a superior shoe. The seamless one-piece upper of the shoe is made from a single piece of leather, hand stitched at the heel. The gusseted tongue reinforces the waterproof construction. The shoe is left on the last for 10 days where light steam and humidity are used to tighten the leather and enhance shape and fit. Buffalo leather is used for the foot bed, and it can be worn with socks in Winter and without socks in Summer. The leather is also dyed with natural pigments so that the hide retains its natural state and ages richly over time. The superior construction technique and use of natural materials ensure that the shoe breathes and does not retain sweat or odor. The FEIT Fall 2015 Hand Sewn Hiker is now available in limited edition at the brand’s online webshop as well as its New York and Sydney retail stores.
