LACOSTE Fall/Winter 2015-16 Runway Collection

LACOSTE presents its Fall/Winter 2015-16 runway collection, channeling the characters of comedy film “The Royal Tenenbaums.” With creative director, Felipe Oliveira Baptista paying tennis a tribute once more this season, offering a ‘winter tennis’ that mixes the supple lightness of sportswear with the tailored elegance of long protective coats. The collection consists of an entire wardrobe where menswear and womenswear echo each other, and showcases a look inspired by the past but made contemporary by its play on strong contrasts: super-structured sportswear meets lengths, volumes, strong colors, subtle tones, solid fabrics and art-deco prints revisited by the 70s. The LACOSTE Fall/Winter 2015-16 runway collection is built around a ‘chic’ that does not take itself seriously: ‘Rene did it first’ and ‘tennis anyone?’ are featured on sweatshirts and sweaters. With this new release, it’s safe to say tennis is getting a lot of love this season. See the collection in it’s entirety in the gallery above.
