Samsung Officially Unveils the Galaxy Note 8

Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy Note 8 smartphone – the latest addition to its flagship Galaxy smartphone line. Designed to accommodate the way consumers lead their lives and lean on technology today, the phone features a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display, a multi-purpose S-Pen stylus, and Samsung’s most advanced smartphone camera till date.

The 6.3-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display will allow the user to see more while scrolling less. Multitasking is also now effortless with the new App Pair feature, which will let users create a custom pairing of most apps on the Edge panel that will simultaneously launch two apps in Multi Window mode. For instance, you can watch a video while messaging friends or take part in a conference call with your notes and agenda directly in front of you.

As mentioned earlier, the Note 8 boasts Samsung’s most advanced smartphone camera till date. The phone features two 12MP rear cameras with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) on both the wide-angle and telephoto lenses, Live Focus in turn allows you to control the depth of field. In Dual Capture mode, both rear cameras take two pictures simultaneously. On the front-facing end, the phone welcomes a 8MP Smart Auto Focus camera.

In addition to the above, the Galaxy Note 8 boasts water and dust resistance, fast wireless charging, updated security, and Samsung’s virtual assistant Bixby, to provide users with an unmatched reliable user experience. 6GB of RAM, a 10nm processor, 64GB of standard storage and expandable memory round out the new Samsung offering.

Available in “Midnight Black” and “Orchid Gray,” pre-orders for Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8 begins August 24, with prices ranging from $930 USD to $960 USD. The phone will then be available at select retailers September 15. Also, for those who purchase the phone between August 24 and September 24, they will receive the choice of a Samsung Gear 360 camera or a Galaxy Foundation kit with Samsung 128GB EVO+ memory card and Fast Wireless Charging Convertible as a promotional gift, while supplies last.
