Seemingly out of nowhere today, adidas introduced a brand new silhouette to its sneaker family. Aptly dubbed “AlphaBOUNCE,” the shoe has been specifically built for the needs of runners and hardcore athletes.
The AlphaBOUNCE was created using motion-capture technology to anticipate each undulation of the foot during a running movement. Its upper is made from a material that is the first of its kind called FORGEDMESH, making it seamless, while it’s also molded from a ribbed pattern for extra support. Supporting the FORGEDMESH upper is the BOUNCE midsole, which is made from an EVA foam to instill a feeling of weightlessness when in motion.
