BMW Unveils the M2 “M Performance Parts” Concept

BMW unveiled the new M2 M Performance Parts concept at the 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The heavily modified vehicle combines aggressive aesthetics and performance enhancements through a lightweight kit that sheds over 60 kg and enhances aerodynamics.

The main highlights of the concept is said to be the carbon fiber replacement parts which makes the car more than 60 kg lighter than the standard car. These carbon fiber replacements can be found on the front radiator grille, hood, side panels, front and side sill winglets, trunk lid, and the roof.

Additional modifications include an M Performance carbon fiber tailgate, a carbon fiber rear diffuser, carbon fiber sport seats, Alcantara interior upholstery, M Performance suspension with adjustable compression and rebound stage, and 19-inch Frozen Gold forged wheels that are 13 lbs lighter than the standard wheel.

Most of the upgrades in the M Performance Parts Concept are currently available, and the ones that aren’t will be available in the coming months.
