Since Raf Simons joined Calvin Klein almost two years ago, he has undoubtedly made significant changes, touching every corner of the brand. It started off with Calvin Klein 205W39NYC, and now the Belgian fashion designer is introducing yet another sublabel called “Calvin Klein Jeans Est. 1978.”
Calvin Klein Jeans Est. 1978 blends CK’s American heritage with the graphic and streetwise aesthetic of today’s youth culture at a more affordable price, with prices ranging between $60 USD and $700 USD. Bold graphics showcasing midwestern plains, cowboys, barns, and Richard Avedon’s iconic photograph of Brooke Shields’ Calvin Klein Jeans campaign in 1980, can be seen across sturdy textiles such as denim shirts, jeans and trucker jackets. Wardrobe essentials such as T-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies, as well as puffer jackets, backpacks, hats, and accessories round out the new offering from the new sublabel.
The first delivery from Calvin Klein Jeans Est. 1978 drops tomorrow at CKEST1978.com and Calvin Klein’s Madison Avenue store, and at select retailers later this weekend.
