Luxury fashion house, Balenciaga, has just unveiled a brand new silhouette – a functional sports sneaker and luxury footwear hybrid. Dubbed “Speed Trainer,” the new silhouette boasts a knit, sock-like construction throughout the upper, making the sneaker extremely lightweight, at only 240 grams. Beneath that, is a white midsole, which features innovative shock absorption and memory capabilities.
Now available for pre-order from Balenciaga’s official site, the Balenciaga Speed Trainers are scheduled to arrive on January 10, 2017 with a retail price of $545 USD.
