Chevrolet has unveiled the 2016 Camaro. The familiar appearance might make it look like much hasn’t changed, but the American automaker has loaded the iconic sports coupe with major updates. Weighing 200 pounds lighter than its predecessors, the new Camaro boasts a Corvette 6.2-liter V8 pushing, 455 horsepower and 455 pound-feet of torque, faster acceleration and competitive fuel economy. Each engine comes with a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. Furthermore, the new model features a reduced aerodynamic lift for better handling, as it features a leaner build with slightly smaller dimensions. The interior boasts a new Driver Mode Selector as well as a customizable lighting option. The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro will go on sale later this year in LT and SS models.
