BlackBerry has introduced yet another smartphone phone with a physical QWERTY keyboard dubbed “PRIV,” and the bigger deal about this new offering is the fact that it will run on the latest Android software. The BlackBerry PRIV smartphone boasts a 5.4-inch dual-curved OLED display with a physical slide-out keyboard, 18MP dual-flash camera and a 3410 mAh battery. Additionally , an on-board storage comes in the form of 32GB of Flash memory while a microSD card slot allows for expansion of up to 2TB. One of the biggest selling points here is the inclusion of BlackBerry’s DTEK app which is essentially a privacy dashboard that allows users to get an overview of their BlackBerry’s security and control individual app permissions as they relate to data and privacy.
The BlackBerry PRIV is due out in November 6 and can be pre-ordered now online for $699 USD.
