BMW has taken the wraps of its largest SUV yet, the X7 model, which is scheduled to hit the market in 2019.
The new vehicle boasts a noticeably prominent front, large windows, high ground clearance, and a long roofline, in addition to chrome detailing and LED lights as standard. The interior features three spacious rows of electrically adjustable seats, capable of carrying seven people, as the third row is outfitted with armrests, cupholders, and USB ports.
Under the hood, the X7 harbors a single-turbo 3.0-liter inline-6 engine cranking out 335 hp in the xDrive40i model, and a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine cranking out 456 hp in the xDrive50i, each coming with an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drivetrain capable of transferring all power to the rear.
The all-new BMW X7 is equipped with a complete range of modern driver assistance systems, as well as Live Cockpit Professional with BMW Operating System 7.0 including BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant. Four-zone climate control, ambient lighting, a three-part panoramic roof glass, and leather, all come standard.
The BMW X7 xDrive40i model is priced at $74,895 USD, while the xDrive50i model is priced at $93,595 USD. The vehicle is scheduled to hit dealerships in March 2019 with pre-orders taking place this October.
