Inspired by true events, The Revenant is a western thriller adapted from Michael Punke’s 2003 novel of the same name, telling the story of legendary explorer Hugh Glass (Leonardo DiCaprio) who was brutally attacked by a bear and left for dead by members of his own hunting team in an expedition of the uncharted American wilderness. Glass navigates the vicious winter in a relentless pursuit to live and find redemption, as he vows to get revenge against the confidant John Fitzgerald (Tom Hardy) who betrayed him.
