Drake Reunites ‘Degrassi’ Cast for “I’m Upset” Video

In preparation for the release of his upcoming Scorpion album which is scheduled for June 29, 2018, Drake has blessed the fans with the official music video for “I’m Upset”. When he said “My high school reunion might be worth an appearance” on “Pound Cake / Paris Morton Music 2”, no one envisioned the rapper making an actual epic move in the future based on that line.

More than a decade after starring in Canadian drama series Degrassi: The Next Generation, Drake has returned to the community school where it all started, reuniting the entire cast which include Shane Kippel (Gavin “Spinner” Mason), Nina Dobrev (Mia Jones), Ephraim Ellis (Rick Murray), Jake Epstein (Craig Manning), Lauren Collins (Paige Brooks), Stefan Brogran (Archie “Snake” Simpson), and more.

The video was directed by Karena Evans, the same person responsible for the visual direction of Drake’s “God’s Plan” and “Nice for What”.

Wizkid – Come Closer (Official Video) ft. Drake

Wizkid has officially released the official visuals to his latest collaborative song with Drake, titled “Come Closer.” As stated previously, the summertime tune is the pair’s first official joint effort since their record-breaking chart topper “One Dance,” which reached 1 billion plays on Spotify.

The crisp Daps-directed video, sees the original Starboy performing against different African inspired geometric backdrops, alongside some beautiful melanin women donning African-inspired attires and make-up. Drizzy was no nowhere to be found in the video, and social media, especially Wizkid’s fans aren’t having any of that, and they’ve gone as far as calling him all kinds of names out of anger. Drake was on his “Boy Meets World Tour” in the UK, during the shooting of the video, so this could be one reason he couldn’t feature on the video, or there could be more to this that we don’t know about.
