The coveted visvim FBT silhouette has received an overhaul with the debut of the FBT PRIME. First seen last September as part of the Japanese label’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection, the design offers a number of improvements for the old favorite. A glossy polyurethane heel stabilizer now offers added support while the familiar upper now comes in newly-sourced Swedish vegetable-tanned cow suede. The biggest update, however, is the addition of a specially-designed sole unit from Vibram – a design that gives the shoe a more technical edge and one that comes complete with indigo-dyed cotton-nylon blend fabric details.
Although already sold out on visvim’s Japanese web store, the FBT PRIME is now available at select stockists in black, dark brown and light brown colorways for ¥62,000 JPY (approximately $557 USD) per pair.
